Ducky’s Enrollment & Program Commitment Policy
Enrollment at Ducky’s represents a commitment to a specialized developmental placement. Please be advised that the enrollment fee covers premium program delivery and instruction; it does not include uniforms, books, or external school supplies.
To ensure the integrity of our developmental goals and the stability of the classroom environment, we observe the following completion tiers:
[ ] 5-Month Minimum Commitment: Qualifies the student to participate in our Culminating Activity, celebrating their mid-year progress.
[ ] 10-Month Full Program: Qualifies the student for our formal Graduation Ceremony, where they will receive their Graduation Certificate and their Developmental Milestone Portfolio.
The minimum program commitment at Ducky's is five (5) months. In the event of an early exit before this milestone:
[ ] Progress Waiver: Parents/Guardians are required to sign a formal Progress Waiver. This document acknowledges the potential disruption to the child’s developmental milestones and social-emotional regulation caused by an early exit.
[ ] Financial Terms: Upon submission of a Withdrawal Form, any remaining credits, deposits, or advanced payments are strictly non-refundable and forfeited.
[ ] Re-enrollment Policy: To maintain learning continuity and support the child’s adjustment, students who withdraw before the 5-month mark will not be eligible for re-enrollment until the beginning of the next 5-month cycle.
Collection of Information
In accordance with the Data Privacy Act of 2012, we collect personal and medical information solely for the purpose of enrollment, safety, and program delivery. This information is stored securely and will not be shared with unauthorized third parties
Renewal
Because our slots are strictly limited, we utilize an early renewal process. A special renewal window opens three days prior to "Renewal Week" or the week before the next learning month. This window allows families to secure their preferred timeslots before they are offered to the waitlist.
Withdrawal
To stop active billing, a formal Withdrawal Form must be completed and submitted to the Administration. This requirement applies to all enrollment types, including those on a monthly payment package; billing remains continuous and active until the official Withdrawal Form is processed. Ducky’s program is designed for long-term developmental success; therefore, families who choose to withdraw without completing at least five (5) months of consistent attendance are required to sign a Progress Waiver. This document acknowledges the potential disruption to the child’s developmental milestones and social-emotional regulation caused by an early exit. Upon submission of a Withdrawal Form, any remaining credits, deposits, or advanced payments are strictly non-refundable and forfeited.
Payment and Billing
Statements of Account (SOA) are issued monthly via digital channels. The due date for all payments is strictly five (5) days upon receipt of the SOA to ensure the continuity of Centre operations. Please be advised that billing is continuous regardless of attendance; parents will continue to be billed for their child's secured slot until a formal Withdrawal Form is successfully completed and processed. While digital statements are provided free of charge, parents may request a physical printed copy of their statement for a processing fee of ₱100 per request. A penalty of 10% on top of MSF will be charged for delayed payments or payments made 3 days past due date.
Scheduling
A 24-hour notice is required for any changes in schedule to avoid disrupting the program flow. While scheduling remains at the discretion of parents, please note that no classes are held during regular holidays for any program. Pre-K and Nursery programs do not hold classes during special non-working holidays, whereas Nestlings and Ducklings follow their specialized schedules. If Ducky's cancels a session for any reason, a reschedule will be facilitated; however, if a parent cancels without 24-hour notice, the class is forfeited.
Availability of slots
Placement in any specific program or timeslot depends entirely on current availability at the time of enrollment or renewal.
Teaching PhilosophiesWe embrace a play-based, child-led, and future-ready approach to early childhood development. Our programs are designed to nurture each child's individuality, encourage social-emotional growth, and build foundational skills through hands-on experiences.
Educational Philosophies
At Ducky’s, we have intentionally designed our program to move away from traditional DepEd-slotted schools—a designation that is not required since we do not offer K-12. This independence allows us to strictly follow the Australian Early Years Learning Framework (EYLF), focusing on high-level cognitive and social-emotional growth that traditional curricula often overlook.
Because we prioritize holistic development over standardized testing, we do not issue a standard ECD certificate or diploma. Instead, we provide deep-dive documentation of your child’s actual progress through:
[ ] Daily Charts for immediate feedback.
[ ] Monthly Progress Reports for consistent tracking.
[ ] Developmental Milestone Portfolio for 10-month completers
[ ] Ducky’s Enrollment Certificate.
DepEd Compliance and AlignmentIn accordance with DepEd Order No. 20, s. 2018, all K-12 institutions are mandated to accept students who meet the 5-year-old age requirement for Kindergarten, ensuring every child’s right to education regardless of their previous school's accreditation. At Ducky’s, we fully support this transition by ensuring our students are not only academically ready but developmentally superior for their entry into "Big School."
The Ducky’s advantage lies in the depth of evidence we provide for this transition. While other children may arrive with only a standard, one-page report card, our graduates carry a comprehensive, evidence-based Developmental Milestone Portfolio. By moving beyond simple "grades on paper," we provide the receiving school with a sophisticated, professional map of the child's logic, literacy, and social-emotional regulation. This holistic documentation ensures that our students meet DepEd’s age-based entry criteria while possessing the high-level skills required for the rigors and assessments of top-tier private schools.
Program Framework
We follow the Australian Early Years Learning Framework (EYLF) guided by K-12 standards for school readiness. Please note that Ducky’s is not DepEd accredited, as specialized playschool and nursery programs operate independently of DepEd regulation.
Classroom StructureTo ensure personalized attention, we maintain a strict ratio of one teacher to a maximum of six students. Slots per class are strictly limited.
Academic Framework & Progress Tracking
We monitor development through daily charts and reports, supplemented by formal Monthly Progress Reports to keep parents informed of developmental leaps.
Consent to Participate in Activities
By enrolling, parents consent to their child’s participation in all age-appropriate educational and recreational activities aligned with the Ducky’s program.
Waiver of Liability
While every reasonable precaution is taken to ensure student safety, parents acknowledge a waiver of liability for the Centre during the child's participation in regular program activities.
Refunds
Ducky’s maintains a strict no-refund policy. Any excess payments or remaining balances can be reallocated or used as credit for daily sessions or official merchandise.
Emergencies
Classes are automatically suspended during Typhoon Signal No. 1. The Centre maintains clear emergency exits and conducts regular emergency drills with all students.
Medical & Health Acknowledgment
Parents must provide their preferred hospital and doctor for emergency records. In the event of a medical emergency where parents cannot be reached, Ducky's is permitted to seek immediate medical help on the child's behalf.
Communication and Announcements
All official announcements, scheduling updates, and program notices are made exclusively through our verified Viber Group, official Facebook Page, and designated mobile numbers. Information received through any other channel—including personal social media accounts or unofficial messaging—is not considered valid; please engage at your own risk. To ensure operational integrity, all inquiries, schedule changes, or administrative requests must be directed to Ducky’s official channels only. The Centre cannot be held accountable for service interruptions, coordination errors, or missed requests that are sent through improper or unofficial channels.
Late Pick-Up
To respect the specialized schedule of our programs and the preparation time of our teachers, prompt pick-up is required. A grace period of 5 minutes is provided; thereafter, a Late Pick-Up Fee of ₱80 for every 15 minutes (or fraction thereof) will be charged and added to the following month’s billing.
Nappy & Potty Training
Ducky’s supports the physical development of our younger students. Parents agree that teachers and staff will assist with potty time and nappy changes as needed during class hours. Parents are required to provide a sufficient supply of nappies, wipes, and a change of clothes in the child's daily bag.
Trial Class vs. Assessment Fee
Every prospective student is entitled to one (1) Free Trial Class to experience our learning environment. This trial must be availed prior to enrollment; once the enrollment fee is submitted, the trial class is considered waived and cannot be credited toward future sessions.
Non-Solicitation / Staff Privacy
Our educators are our most valuable resource. By enrolling, parents agree not to independently solicit, hire, or engage Ducky’s staff for private tutoring, childcare, or nannying services outside of Centre hours without prior written consent from the Administration.
Personal Belongings
Should always be labeled. We have a lost and found - but we will not be liable for personal belongings.
Sick Days
Ducky’s must be notified of a child’s absence the day before or at least two hours prior to the scheduled class time to facilitate a reschedule. If a child is brought to the Centre and the teacher deems them too symptomatic or ill to participate upon drop-off, the child will be sent home immediately to protect the health of the cohort.
-
Nestlings and Ducklings: For children sent home at drop-off, Administration will arrange one (1) reschedule. This make-up session is subject to availability and must be availed within the same learning month, or it will be forfeited.
-
Pre-K and Nursery: For children sent home at drop-off, Administration will provide a specialized Take-Home Activity Pack to ensure learning continuity. Please note that for this cohort, the session will not be rescheduled.
-
Make-up sessions for general absences must be availed within the same learning month. Exceptions and special arrangements beyond the learning month are only granted upon the presentation of a valid medical certificate or doctor's note
Health, Safety, & Data Privacy
We regularly and strictly maintain the cleanliness and sanitization of the Centre to ensure a safe learning environment for all students.
Social Media
Ducky’s takes photos and videos during classes to document the learning experience. Participation in social media posting is optional.
[ ] I consent to having my child's experiences shared on Ducky's official social media.
[ ] I do not consent to social media posting.
